India’s first and premier Degree College of Naturopathy & Yoga, established in August 1989 by SDM Educational Society(R), Ujire. The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and recognized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of AYUSH, & Government of India & Karnataka.

The College offers 5 years BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) Medical Degree Course in Naturopathy and Yoga and annual intake capacity is 100 students every year. We are proud to have students from 26 states and four countries studying in our college. The college is also offering three years post graduate course (M.D) in Naturopathy and Yoga for the first time in the country.

The college is having library with collection of rare books on Naturopathy & Yoga, experienced faculty, Full fledged laboratories for basic sciences, Separate Hostel facility with vegetarian mess for men & women are available in the campus.

More than 800 doctors from this college have completed in 18 batches and are well placed in their profession in India and Abroad.

The 500 bedded sophisticated multi specialty  SDM Yoga & Naturopathy Hospital on the banks of Holy river Nethravathi at Shanthivana near Dharmasthala and Pareeka near Manipal Karnataka are available for clinical & research studies for students.

People from all over India and abroad are visiting these hospitals and taking treatment for their ailments which are not cured under other system of medicines. Recently we have started 10 Out Patient Units in Naturopathy and Yoga in 10 districts of Karnataka in PPP model with department of AYUSH Govt. of Karnataka and Govt. of India.

The prime mover of the trust is Prof. S.A.R.P.V. Chaturvedi Swamiji, Extolled as an authority in Philosophy, Ethics, logic and traditional sciences, he is also a renowned analyst and multi-linguistic orator in contemporary and emerging disciplines.

Karnataka  Pradesha  Prakruthika  Chikitsa  Parishad (KPPCP), Malleswaram, Bengaluru-560 003 started by Justice NitturSrinivasaRao, Retd. Chief Justice of Karnataka, with a view to help in spreading the wellness through principles of Naturopathy and yoga, low cost, easy, effective healthcare system.  Later on Justice D.M. Chandrasekhar was the president and now Dr. H. Sreenivasaiah is the president.  Following the footsteps of the founder and KPPCP is conducting various seminars, workshops, classes, camps and conferences for the last 37 years in Karnataka state.  KPPCP has organized 3 state/national conferences so far.  There is great awareness now among people about alternative medicines, drugless therapies which are health care systems without any side effects and low cost systems.
