About the Conference

The first international conference on Yoga and Naturopathy is a global platform for all stakeholders to engage in intellectual exchange to strengthen the evidence based practice of Yoga & Naturopathy, to network with each other and to reaffirm their sense of purpose to establish Yoga & Naturopathy as a system of choice to deal with challenge of lifestyle diseases. It showcases researches in relevant fields, orients students and facilitates interaction between health professionals, therapists, researches, academicians, policymakers, saints and health educators.
This conference is being envisioned as a single largest platform to bring Yoga and Naturopaths across the world; Thereby capitalize on each other strengths and work towards evidence based-traditionally authentic education and clinical practice of Yoga & Naturopathy. There is a immediate need to engage in high quality research to demonstrate the clinical benefits of Yoga & Naturopathy, thus meet the regulatory requirements in establishing Yoga & Naturopathy as a recognized system of healing.

1. Yoga Therapy workshop for non communicable diseases
S-VYASA Yoga University, Jigani, Bengaluru

S-VYASA University has evolved, clinically tested disease specific yoga therapy modules for psychosomatic diseases and cancer. This will be a therapy workshop where patients would enroll for a seven day residential workshop to receive the abridged version of the 2 weeks therapy. The four day workshop will be held at the headquarters of the S-VYASA Yoga University.

‘AHARA’ ‘Annabrahma’ which is a vital component to be considered to physical body or “Annamaya Kosha”. Aharotsava, disseminates the knowledge associated with preventive and curative aspects of “Ahara” – in terms of Food Science, Nutrition and Dietitics.
